Virginia Beach Fishing Report, Cape Henry Decent Rockfish Trolling

12/26/08 - Fished with Bill funk and friends for a 3/4 day trolling. We started out down to the south off damn neck 2 miles out with a small fleet. The fishing was a slow pick and we caught one fish and pulled another off in the hour we were there. Next we moved up to the cape and there was a bigger fleet there but a little better pick. As the tide increased on the outgoing, we moved over close to the cape and the rockfish started biting much better. We ended up catchig quite a few real quick on all sorts of various baits and all fish were various sizes from throwback all the way up to 25 pounds or so.
