Virginia Beach Fishing Report, Hatteras Offshore Jacks Albacore Mahi

05/22/10 - Today we had Nick Velotta and some of his Army buds from Ft. Lee aboard for a day offshore. These guys were easy to please and they simply wanted to go catch fish. The mahi bite was a bit slow, but we had some bites trolling. then we went bottom fishing and that was a bit slow but we still caught some squirrelfish. We went back to trolling and caught a false albacore. Then we went jigging and laid waste to the jacks. We caught a good size and number of jacks and these guys had a really good time catching them. Next they wanted to catch a shark and we tried for a while but just couldnt get one to the boat.
