On july 11 we fished an inshore half day. Everything started off normal. We were plucking away at the mackerels and bluefish when I saw up in front of me a giant school of huge redfish tailing on the surface. These things were hungry and they were excellent fighters. We found them 3 miles off sandbridge working hard to the south. We instantly hooked up on jigs. I called the fleet in and everyone started catching them. These were big fish and we captured redfish up to 54'', earning everyone on the boat a release citation. |
