Virginia Beach Fishing Report, inshore half day july 11 BIG REDFISH

On july 11 we fished an inshore half day. Everything started off normal. We were plucking away at the mackerels and bluefish when I saw up in front of me a giant school of huge redfish tailing on the surface. These things were hungry and they were excellent fighters. We found them 3 miles off sandbridge working hard to the south. We instantly hooked up on jigs. I called the fleet in and everyone started catching them. These were big fish and we captured redfish up to 54'', earning everyone on the boat a release citation.
