Virginia Beach Fishing Report, Matador Charters Bottom Fishing Groupers

05/06/10 - Today we had John Angelson and the Greeks aboard for another day of the "Greek Invasion"! These guys fish with me several times a year and are always a great group to fish with. Today they wanted to get back on the groupers and get some more meat for the freezer before I come back to Virginia Beach from Hatteras. We started right off the bat catching a limit of real nice groupers up to 30#. We had some tiles mixed in and various other bottomfish including a nice 7# streamer bass. I will try to get a picture of the streamer bass and put it up here because they are a really cool looking fish. We ended up catching a very nice box of fish while bottom-fishing and then they wanted to jig. We went over to one of my wrecks and caught a limit of amberjacks with one being about 60#s.
