Virginia Beach Fishing Report, Offshore Charter Fishing on Matador

07/25 - On saturday, we had Ed Lewis and some of his employees for a day offshore. Yesterday, the marlin fishing had been very good and we thought that we would give it a try. Well the word was out and it was a zoo out there. Probably a hundred or more boats crammed into one small area. We moved away from the crowd and fished for dolphin. We had steady bites throughout the day and caught a few. We did not see a marlin all day but came home with a nice box of meat. The day was slow for most, but we ended out with a dozen or so mahi and a couple of bonitas.
