Virginia Beach Fishing Report, Very Crowded Saturday Striper Fishing

12/27/08 - On saturday, I had Altry Bowen and friends aboard for a half day. The weather was slick calm with dense fog for part of the morning and being in combination with it being a holiday saturday I think everyone decided to go fishing. There were boats everywhere the eye could see and the calm conditions made for tough tough fishing. There was a decent little bite of smaller class of fish inside the bay. We caught a couple but nothing big and not alot of them. We heard of a decent bite off sandbridge, but heard about it too late in the trip and were not able to make it there. Beautiful day out there though.
