Virginia Beach Fishing Report, Virginia Beach Inshore Flounder Fishing

08/10 - Today we had Charles Breshears and his son Max aboard for a half day. Charles and his son are both from overseas and Charles works at the United States embassy in Chad. They both had very interesting stories. We started off catching bluefish for a few minutes. Then we went over and caught a whole bunch of flounder. Most were throwbacks, however, we did catch some keepers. At the end of the trip, we pulled off and caught some sharks. Overall the fishing was very good and it was one of those days were the fish were just chomping. When we got back to the dock, we were throwing the bluefish carcasses in the water as we cleaned them and there were redfish eating them as we threw them in. I put a hook in a carcass and proceeded to catch several 28-40 inch redfish off the dock at the back of the boat.
