Virginia Beach Fishing Report, Virginia Beach Inshore Shark Fishing

8/20 - We had the Conley boys back in town to try to have their shot at a cobia. The last time they fished with me, it was pretty windy and we ended up catching sharks. Not much change in that story today either. We looked all around for cobias, but saw none. Its was very windy, there was a lot of current, and the water was exceptionally soupy. We set up chum and started sharking and managed several sharks, including a nice hammerhead. Then we did some drifting for flounder. We managed to catch a dozen or fifteen flounder and we had several that were close to keeper size but just didnt have any big enough to keep. Though the conditions were not great, we stuck it out and still caught fish.
