On tuesday, the weather had turned around and the wind was blowing a little out of the southeast. It was a big change from the several days of beautiful weather we had over the weekend but fishable nonetheless. It was overcast out and water temos had cooled off a couple degrees from the day before. We started out trolling and found a slow mackerel bite. There werent a million mackerels out there yesterday but the ones we did catch were good sized mackerels including one that was pushing 4 pounds. We trolled for mackerels and worked our way out to the shark grounds catching one here and there all along the way and set up to shark fish. Put the chum bags out and waited. It took a while to get them going but when we did get them going we had fairly steady action from the blacktips including a couple 50 pound class blacktips. despite the ugly weather, we scrapped out a decent catch.
