Back in the water ready for striper season

For the last month, we have had the boat at the boatyard doing work and improvements to get ready for striper season. We hauled out for hurricane Sandy in late October and a string of bad weather for nearly a month kept us from putting the boat back in. We did a bunch of painting, repaired a crack, some motor work, and added trim tabs. Now Matador is back in the water ready for the upcoming striper season. Fishing for schoolies at the bridge has been slow, but with calming weather and clearing water I am optomistic that we will have some fish there in december. The rest of december we will offer trips to the bridge chasing schoolies. This can be done on a half or 3/4 day. Also big fish have shown up on eels off cape Charles and we can offer eeling trips on a full day charter for those who want to catch big trophy rockfish. The ocean fish are on their way and though there have been some schools out over the 3 mile line, the big body of fish we are looking for has made its way down as far south as new jersey, so those fish should be here very soon. Ocean trips are full day only trips and those trips are $1000.
