Cobias beginning to show inshore

Recently on our inshore trips we have had several people asking for cobia fishing. Cobia are a large game fish caught several different ways in our inshore waters here off virginia. We can catch them mostly by either sight casting or chumming. Lately, everyone has wanted to go sightcasting when we go cobia fishing. Sightcasting demands certain weather as it needs to be calm and sunny in order to see them cruising on the surface so we can throw baits at them. We have had this weather and had some decent days of sightcasting lately and have also had days where we have seen and caught several cobias. The inshore fishing has been very slow to get started this year because of strange weather conditions but we have seen our inshore charter trips get better and better results each day and we are looking forward to the fishing for the remainder of the summer. On our inshore charter trips we have also been catching spanish mackerel, bluefish, several species of sharks, and some red drum. We have plenty of availability for inshore and offshore charters so give me a call today at 7577496008 and get your trip booked. Thanks, capt. Jake
