Good day offshore 7/14

On Saturday we were offshore and the goal was meat. These guys wanted a catch of mahi for the freezer and we heaeded towards the norfolk towards a break that had been holding mahi the day before. We started out just north of the norfolk and found a scattered weedline that wasnt holding many dolphin and worked that for a good while with only a handful of bites. When we got close to the tip of the canyon a white marlin snuck in and we made short work of that one. In the canyon there were a few dolphin on the lobster pots but they were worked over pretty hard by the time we got there. We continued working our way south and just south of the canyon we saw another marlin that was hooked and caught. shortly after that marlin we found a school of mahi and bailed some. At this point, these guys were happy. Continued trolling and missed a marlin. We had a tuna bite on the dink rig. Then we put the same bait back out and 5 minutes later we hooked and caught a nice tuna on the dink rig . Then we had a couple more mahi bites. All in all it was a pretty good day offshore with a lot of bites, plenty of meat in the box, and a couple marlins. All of our action was 35-43 fathoms just north and just south of the tip of the norfolk.
