Finally we got to do some inshore fishing during the week this week. The weather was hot and very calm most of the week. The fish were cooperative too. We did a lot of shark fishing as the shark fishing was very good all week. We caught a good amount of sharks on every half day trip we did last week. We caught mostly blacktips, but we did have a hammerhead, and some bull sharks. We even got hit by mahi mahi once wheile we were inshore chumming for sharks, which is unusual to see this early in the year. There we also some cobias around and on one half day where we looked for cobias briefly we saw 4 different single fish, catching three and boating one 40 pound fish. Spanish mackerel continue to hang around for trolling in the surf and the spadefish bite is tapering down but triggerfish have moved in on all the inshore structure.
