Inshore report spanish mackerel sharks cobia

Inshore fishing has been very consistently good over the last couple of weeks. We have ran quite a few inshore trips and for the most part each day we have had something to catch. There have been good amounts of spanish mackerels most days. The mornings have definitely been better for the mackerel but we can find them on afternoon trips just not as concentrated in the shallows as they are in the morning. The shark fishing inshore has been exceptional. Each day we have found very good numbers of sharks up towards the buoy line and some days we have had 50 or more sharks hanging behind the boat in the chumline. Also we have been seeing some cobias. This year though the cobias we have are mostly small fish and the bigger ones have been very hard to come by. We have caught 13 cobias in the last two weeks and only a few have been keeper size. On full days inshore we have plenty of triggerfish on the wrecks as well as flounder in the bay. Inshore trips are great for people coming to town that wanna have relaxing couple hours on the water and catch some dinner. We have plenty of inshore availability over the next several weeks. Give me a call at 7577496008 and we will get you booked. Thanks. Capt. Jake
