Today was one of those days that go down as "the good ol days". 4 people who fish regularly and had never caught cobia, just got hooked for life. Caught a pile out of hundreds seen. It's very rare we get to pick which ones we want and not throw at little ones. No bait, all jigs. Fast as you can go. Couple citations and a tagged fish that's gonna pay my charter back some for fishing today.
I have some dates available for charter if you are quick with it.

183216190_130575579062212_4795877856186428083_n.jpgIt's almost BLACK SEA BASS SEASON in Virginia. The season opens May 15 and while I have some dates booked, I still have a few dates available. Spring black sea bass season is one of my favorite times of the year because our charter season gets kicked off with the opening of black sea bass. In Virginia in 2021, each angler will be allowed 15 fish at a 12.5" minimum size. These sea bass are plentiful and great to eat, so this fishing trip is a great crowd pleaser.
Here's the trips I have available: UPDATED 1230 WED MAY 5
Sunday May 16 I have a full boat booking available for up to six people at $1200 plus tip. BOOKED. NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
Tuesday May 18 I have a walk on trip available at $225 per person, including tip. 6 spaces available. 1 SEAT BOOKED. 5 AVAILABLE REMAINING SEATS
Friday May 21 I have a walk on trip available at $225 per person including tip. 6 spaces available. 3 SEATS BOOKED, 3 AVAILABLE REMAINING.
Sunday May 23 I have a full boat booking for up to 6 people at $1200 plus tip.
Monday May 24 I have a walk on trip available at $225 per person, including tip. 6 spaces available.
All sea bass trips are aboard the 35' Henriques "Toro" sailing from Bubba's restaurant and marina in Lynnhaven at 7am.  call 7577496008 or message me on facebook messenger for booking. Walk on seats are first come, first serve.

Just what the doctor ordered. Great day fishing the offshore wrecks for sea bass. Chris got a bonus doormat flounder. Back at the dock the shrimp boats had just come in so we picked up a few pounds. Dinner was amazing! Fresh Virginia flounder and shrimp. Thanks to Captain Jake Hiles for putting us on the meat!
